The installation methods of LED Display

April 15, 2024

LED display screens are widely used in various fields, and the installation methods vary based on the application area and installation environment. Today, Bright Colors has compiled a comprehensive set of LED display screen installation methods for everyone to learn and reference. The focus is on six common installation methods: hanging, floor-standing, embedded, pillar-mounted, support-mounted, and wall-mounted.

1. Hanging Installation:

- Mostly used indoors and semi-outdoors.

- Commonly installed in passages, entrances of corridors, stations, train stations, subway entrances, etc.

- Also used for traffic guidance on highways, railways, and expressways.

- Screen design typically includes integrated cabinet design or suspension structure.

2. Embedded Installation:

- The entire LED display screen is embedded in the wall, with the display plane at the same level as the wall surface.

- Usually features a simple box design and front maintenance.

- Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, primarily for small-pitch screens with limited display areas.

- Often used at building entrances and lobby areas.

3. Pillar-mounted (Single and Double Pillar):

- Various pillar-mounted installation methods commonly used for outdoor billboards.

- Single-pillar installation suitable for small screen applications.

- Double-pillar installation suitable for large screen applications.

- Maintenance access can be enclosed or open based on the cabinet type.

4. Wall-mounted Installation:

- Typically used indoors or semi-outdoors.

- Small screen size with no maintenance access space; the entire screen is removed for maintenance or designed as a foldable integrated frame.

- Larger screen sizes typically feature front maintenance design using a column assembly method.

5. Rooftop Installation:

- Key considerations include wind resistance of the display screen and steel frame structure.

- Installation with a tilt angle or modules designed with an 8° slope.

- Commonly used for outdoor advertising displays.

6. Rental Suspension Installation:

- Guidelines for suspension screens: recommended size is below 6m x 10m unless using special box materials or strip curtain designs.

- Top equipped with a suspension beam, bottom with a base beam for screen suspension.

- Horizontal connection between rows using suspension mechanisms with locking mechanisms to tighten.

Different suspension mechanisms include gear-type (expensive and aesthetic), cone-type (moderate price and reliable), and bolt-type (affordable, reliable, but assembly can be complex).

Each type has its unique characteristics:

- Gear-type: expensive and aesthetic.

- Cone-type: moderate price and reliable.

- Bolt-type: affordable, reliable, but assembly can be complex; suitable for situations without frequent disassembly.
